Privacy Policy — FevGo
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FevGo
(hereinafter “the App”) collects, uses and protects the personal
data of its users. We respect your privacy and are committed to
protecting your information in accordance with the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek
legislation.
1. Data Controller
The data controller is:
2. What data we collect
2.1 Account data
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Profile name
- Email address
- Profile photo (if any)
- Unique user identifier (Google UID)
2.2 Listing data
When you publish a listing, we store:
- City, area, price, property features
- Profession and reason for moving (as you declare them)
- Contact phone number
- Photos that you upload
- Geographic coordinates (only within the selected point of the listing — displayed as an approximate 500 m circle to protect privacy)
Third-party data (owners). The phone number in a
listing usually belongs to the owner of the property, who is not a
user of the app. The number is entered by the user who publishes
the listing, who confirms that they have the owner’s permission
(see the Terms of Use, 3.3). The owner may
request correction or deletion at
info@fevgo.gr and we will
process the request without delay.
2.3 Technical data
- Device FCM token (for push notifications)
- Advertising ID (via Google AdMob)
- Basic usage statistics (via Firebase Analytics)
3. Purpose of processing
We use the above data to:
- Create and manage your account
- Publish and display listings
- Connect the tenant with the owner through the declared phone number
- Send push notifications (e.g. listing expiry, new listing)
- Improve the app through analytics
- Display advertisements
4. Legal basis for processing
- Performance of the service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): account, publication and display of listings, connecting the tenant with the owner.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): personalized advertising and analytics through the advertising ID, as well as push notifications. You may withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): security of the service and prevention of false listings or abuse.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data to third parties. However, we use the
following services, which process limited data for the app to
function:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, photo storage, push notifications, analytics) — Policy
- Google Maps (display of geographic location) — Policy
- Google AdMob (advertising) — Policy
Your listings (except for the phone number, which is revealed after
an advertisement) are visible to all users of the app.
6. Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob. On first use, in countries of the
European Economic Area and in the United Kingdom, a Google dialog
appears asking for your consent to the use of the advertising ID
and your data for personalized advertising. If you decline, you
will see non-personalized ads.
Declining does not restrict your use of the app or
your access to the phone numbers in listings. For example, to see a
listing’s phone number you can watch an advertisement or wait a few
minutes without an advertisement. You can change your choice at any
time from Profile → “Ad privacy settings”.
7. Retention period
- Account: Until you delete it
- Listings: Up to 29 days, including renewals. The initial duration is 14 days. The first renewal adds 10 days and the second 5 days (29 in total). After expiry they are deleted automatically.
- Logs/Analytics: According to Google’s policies (up to 14 months)
8. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request full deletion of your account and data (from the “Delete account” option inside the app or from the account deletion page)
- Restriction: Request a temporary pause of processing
- Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to specific uses (e.g. analytics)
- Complaint: To the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr)
To exercise your rights, send an email to info@fevgo.gr.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect
your data, including:
- Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encrypted storage on Google’s servers
- Access restricted to authorized personnel only
- Firestore Security Rules that limit what each user can view or modify
10. Children
The app is intended for users over 18 years of age. We do not
knowingly collect data from minors. If we find that we have
received such data, we will delete it immediately.
11. International data transfers
Google’s servers may be located outside the European Union. Google
provides adequate safeguards through Standard Contractual Clauses
approved by the European Commission.
12. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Policy. In the event of
significant changes, we will notify you through the app and/or by
email. Continued use of the app after the notification constitutes
acceptance of the changes.
